The academy is made up of a group of highly qualified professionals. Ben and his team of native and bilingual teachers share a passion for teaching through a clear and effective learning methodology.
Our team comes from different geographical origins such as the UK, Ireland or the USA, thus generating a diverse cultural offer and a wide linguistic variety. In addition, we have conducted various Business English seminars as well as Business English webinars.
Ben Smith, Director
Ben is a passionate linguist, vocational teacher, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the private education sector.
The Ben Smith Academy was born as a great personal and professional project that has been growing since its opening in 2004. Currently, his language school is operating in more than 25 cities in Spain and is an Official Cambridge Exam Preparation Center.
Ben, and his team, have written their own Cambridge Exam Preparation courses and professional English seminars delivered both face-to-face and online in companies and universities.
Following the opening of the language center, he opened his educational travel agency - Ben Smith Educational Travel - to expand the offerings to his students to include language immersions abroad in New York, London, Dublin and Chester.
Being a Spanish philologist, Ben also hosts School Spanish Trips - foreign school groups, collaborating with the Spanish departments of visiting British schools (St. Alban's, Bedford, King's Chester, Shrewsbury, Christ's Hospital, Chester International...).
For several years Ben has strengthened its link with Ireland by organizing an annual Experiential Learning program through Industry visits / Lectures welcoming students of the Master's in International Management of the prestigious Irish university, Trinity College, Dublin.
